Our serene spa will offer an outdoor sanctuary with a twist on "taking of the waters." Opening this fall, our adults-only spa garden will feature our indigenous hot springs, geothermal mineral bath, river reflexology bed, sauna, whirlpool and private cabanas perfect for relaxing.
For the ultimate private spa experience, The Homestead Spa Suite enables families, friends and other groups to connect for a few hours of world-class renewal without interruption from the outside world. Infused with local botanicals from Virginia, spa treatments and services include age-appropriate options for children and are ideal for any special occasion – whether it’s a birthday party, family reunion, girlfriends’ getaway or romantic rendezvous. The private suite is located within our Virginia-themed health spa, one of the most historic in the nation. We encourage you to create a little history of your own with those you cherish most at the Spa and Wellness Center at The Homestead.

MINERAL SPRINGS PEDICURE
Experience the only nail therapy that incorporates the Homestead’s unique mineral springs mud that has been believed for centuries to have curative properties. This treatment will begin with your feet being soaked in a Buttercup Gel, a foot exfoliation with a Buttercup Scrub and a warm Mineral Spring Mud applied. After relaxing with this mask, your legs will be massaged with a Buttercup Body Cream and finally, your toes perfectly polished.

SUNFLOWER SPA PEDICURE
Incorporating The Homestead’s signature Sunflower products, this pedicure begins with a foot soak, followed by a Sunflower Foot Scrub and Mask. You will then experience a hot stone massage from the knees to the toes that is sure to relax the weariest of legs. A polish application will complete this service.

Our skin care therapies have been developed pairing history and tradition with the latest in technology and skin care expertise. The quest to retain a youthful appearance and overall health of the skin brought some of the earliest travelers to the Spa. Taking the waters was believed to remove unwanted skin blemishes and even freckles and left the ski feeling silky smooth.
