Esme Pitard: Director of Conference Services
Esme is a graduate of Carlow College in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and received her Masters in English from the College of William and Mary. She joined The Homestead in 1998 as a Conference Service Manager and was promoted to Director of Conference Services in 2002. She later accepted a position as Conference Service Manager at The Greenbrier in 2005 but returned to The Homestead in 2007 as Social Catering Manager. In 2009, Esme was promoted to Director of Conference Services in January of 2010 became Director of Food and Beverage. During her two years in this position she was responsible for changes in menus in all outlets as well as developing SOPs for major food and beverage events, including summer cookouts and the New Year’s Eve Gala. In May 2012, Esme returned to the helm of Conference Services team and she and her staff are committed to unsurpassed service for meeting planners and the group attendees.

Teresa Creswell
Teresa began her career at The Homestead in 1987 in the Food & Beverage Department before becoming a Conference Service Manager in 1999. She continued her career and went on to receive the title of Certified Meeting Planner to better serve the groups here at The Homestead.

Tonya Kincaid
A hospitality veteran of 20+ years, Tonya Purvis-Kincaid, CMP, has returned to The Homestead as a Conference Service Manager. Tonya graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration with focus in Hospitality Business from James Madison University. Upon graduation, she accepted a sales position at The Homestead, handling small groups and later the Northeast Region. Tonya then transferred to Conference Services at The Homestead and played a key role in the repeat of many programs including many Virginia Associations and numerous corporate events. She left The Homestead in 2006 and continued her Conference Service career at The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs, WV, where she handled high-profile corporate and association programs including annual conferences such as Fourth Circuit Judicial, Virginia Trial Lawyers, ASAE, PwC, Advance Auto and CSX to name a few. Tonya obtained her Certified Meeting Planner status in January 2008. We are pleased to have someone with Tonya's background in the hotel industry back with us!

Gail Arnott
Gail is a graduate of Mary Baldwin College and, in 2006, received her qualifications as a Certified Wedding Professional from Weddings Beautiful Worldwide. She began her hospitality career in 2007 as Clubhouse Manager at The Highlands Golf Club in Franklin, WV where she managed the daily operations of the Food and Beverage Department and all social events. Gail fostered her love for weddings by organizing and planning weddings in her spare time. Gail has been featured in WV Weddings Magazine for both Wedding Planning and Floral Design. She joined the Conference Services team in 2012 as the Weddings and Social Events Manager.

Crystal Broyles
Crystal, a native of Hot Springs, Virginia, began her hospitality career at The Homestead in 2000 in golf operations and was later promoted to Golf Sales Coordinator. In 2011, she joined the Conference Services team where she assisted dozens of groups, from corporate outings to large association meetings. In 2013, Crystal was promoted to Conference Service Manager. While she will primarily be responsible for golf groups, she will also manage the meeting, dining and activity details for a wide range of other groups.
