Holland & Holland Grand Master's Shoot

Virginia Blues & Jazz Festival

Independence Day

July 4-6, 2008
A Concert Under the stars will highlight this star-spangled event featuring the Bruce in the USA tribute band followed by a mountain sky filled with breathtaking fireworks. The family will enjoy an All-American cookout while listening to the sounds of the Key West Band.  Don't forget to play a round of golf,  participate in one of our shooting clinics or one of our many outdoor activities available.

In the Garden with the Experts

Join nationally acclaimed horticulturist and radio personality Andre Viette and The Homestead’s own Kyle Richardson for our garden symposium. Hands-on workshops and informative classes will give you new and refreshing ideas for your spring or summer gardens.

Labor Day Weekend

As summer winds down and fall gets underway, join us for a delightful family weekend. Golf on our championship courses, take a hike on our beautiful mountain trails, or relax with a massage in our world-class European-style spa. Golf & Sporting Clays Outing

September 11-13, 2008
This weekend will feature the ultimate in golf and sporting clays when we combine two of the nation’s most historic sporting pleasures into the country’s newest event. Enjoy 18 stations of tournament sporting clays and 18 holes of tournament golf, followed by a shoot-playoff of the top six two-person teams.  The Homestead welcomes the following event sponsors:

Homestead Couples Invitational

September 26 – 28, 2008
Come and enjoy golf at its best with friends and family. The format is a 36-hole best ball net event, using 100% of handicap for ladies and men. There will be overall net and gross winners as well as flight awards. There will be Closest to the Pin competition with exciting and fun give-aways.

Thanksgiving Holidays

During this special holiday you can experience our traditional Great Hall Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, family craft classes, live music throughout the resort and more. Our lavish Thanksgiving buffet dinner is an experience every family should share.

Bring your family for a very special Christmas in the mountains. There will be many activities for the family to enjoy and the children will be delighted by a traditional visit from Santa. Valentine's and President's Day Weekend
