Valentine's and Presidents' Day Weekend

February 12-15, 2010

     Plan a winter getaway to the mountains with your

50th Anniversary Celebration

February 20, 2010

     Join us at the ski area to celebrate with us our 50th

     Year Anniversary of The Homestead Ski Area.

     There will be entertainment from 12noon-

     4:00pm...a family cookout starting at 11:00am -

     2:00pm...snow games 1:00pm-3:00pm with

     prizes...skiing...snowtubing...snowboarding. What a

     Celebration!

Easter Weekend

April 2-4, 2010

     Experience The Homestead during Easter time, with

     fun activities for everyone. A traditional Easter

     Brunch and Easter egg hunt with the Easter bunny.

     Take in a soothing spa treatment, have fun

     horseback riding or tour the Cascades Gorge with

     all the spring flowers.

Mother's Day Weekend

May 7-9, 2010

     Treat Mom to a relaxing weekend getaway at The

     Homestead.  While mom is enjoying the Spa, the

     rest of the family can be taking in one of our

     adventurous activities.  Everyone can meet for a

     memorable family dinner and end the weekend with

     our traditional Mother's Day Brunch.

Memorial Day Weekend

May 28-31, 2010

    Start your summer off right with a trip to The

    Homestead.  We will be celebrating with lots of daily

    activities for the entire family.  Enjoy golf and tennis

    clinics, horseback riding, hiking and much, much

    more.  Be sure to relax after dinner on Sunday night

    with our evening entertainment and fireworks.

Father’s Day Weekend

June 18-20, 2010

     Bring Dad for a round of golf or just let him relax

     and watch a game. Whatever his wish may be, it is

     here at The Homestead. If you’re not sure what gift

     to pick-up for dad, glance through our shops, we

     are sure you will find the perfect one for him.

Independence Day

July 2-5, 2010

     A Concert Under the stars featuring

     “Hard Days Night” Beatles tribute band will

     highlight this star-spangled event with great

     entertainment on the Driving Range followed by a

     mountain sky filled with breathtaking fireworks. The

     family will enjoy an All-American cookout on the

     Casino Lawn and don’t forget to play a round of

     golf, enjoy a spa treatment or one of our many

     outdoor activities. 

In the Garden

August 20-22, 2010

     Join us again this year with Andre Viette hosting a  

     welcome reception with the speakers.  Enjoy

     seminars and a tour of Homestead

     Gardens.  This fun packed weekend is full of

     gardening tips and numerous Homestead activities

     to choose from.

Labor Day

September 3-6, 2010

     Visit The Homestead for our end of summer party

     featuring a cookout on the Casino Lawn with

     entertainment.  Activities are abundant with

     golf, horseback riding, spa treatments, sporting

     clays, mountain biking, hiking, history tours and so

     much more.

Thanksgiving

November 24-28, 2010

     The Homestead is the perfect place to spend the

     family holidays with craft classes, bingo, wine tasting

     and cooking demonstrations.  There iis always

     something for everyone during Thanksgiving in the

     mountains of Virginia and enjoy our traditional tree

     lighting ceremony in the Great Hall with a visit from

     Santa himself.

Christmas & New Year’s Holidays

December 24, 2010–January 1, 2011

     Bring your family for a very special Christmas in the

     mountains.  There will be many activities for the

     family to enjoy and the children will be

     delighted by a visit from Santa.  On New Year’s

     Eve, ring in the New Year with elegant dining and

     dancing at one of our fabulous celebrations for an

     evening you will never forget.

Winterfest Weekend

January 21-23, 2011

     We have an exciting winter getaway waiting for you.

     Guests will enjoy many activities including skiing,

     snowboarding, snowmobiling and evening

     entertainment.  Don't forget about our traditional

     Fireworks and Torchlight Parade on Saturday night!
