Independence Day
July 3-5, 2009

A Concert Under the stars will highlight this star-spangled event with great entertainment by Still Surfin' a Beach Boys tribute band on the Driving Range followed by a mountain sky filled with breathtaking fireworks. The family will enjoy an All-American cookout on the Casino Lawn while listening to the Bluegrass sounds from The Slack Family. August Concert Series
August 1, 8 and 15, 2009
Come and enjoy a fabulous concert series in August. These events are complimentary to everyone so join in the fun this summer. Experience the Presidents' Lounge before or after the concert or spend the night and take in all The Homestead has to offer. August 1st - Listen to the music of vocalist and songwriter, Barbara Martin, who reflects the greats of traditional jazz. Based in the peaceful Shenandoah Valley, her skillful song crafting and solid guitar chops set her apart

August 8th - Laurence Elder will perform with a blend of jazz, rock, blues and pop. He has a new album "Surrounded" and has recorded with Grammy winners Paquito D'Rivera and Peter Erskine.
August 15th - Terri Allard will perform with a blend of folk, country, and acoustic pop.
On her newly released 3rd CD, "Loose Change and Spare Parts", Terri shows off her strength as a vocalist and the variety in her songwriting.
Golf & Sporting Clays Outing
August 13-16, 2009
Whether you are an avid golfer or a clay shooting aficionado, this is one event you won't want to miss. Enjoy 18 stations of tournament sporting clays on Friday, followed by 18 holes of championship golf on Saturday. Championship played on the Homestead's
Cascades Course.
Hunter's Moon Weekend
October 9-11, 2009
This fun weekend begins on Friday with "Cocktails for a Cause" to
Benefit Bath County Historical Society. On Saturday take a Nature Hike with The
Nature Conservancy along with a Nature Photography Workshop. Enjoy a Karst Tour then relax and experience a Harvest Dinner at Old Dairy.
