The Mountain Lodge Restaurant
The Homestead pioneered skiing in the South, opening our first slopes in 1959, together with an Olympic
size ice skating rink, and the Mountain Lodge. Today the slopes are better than ever, as is our new,
state of the art snowmaking equipment, and the Mountain Lodge Restaurant's menu has everyone's favorites
for ski season. Fireplaces roar both inside and on the outdoor deck, and you can get everything from hot
buttered rum to coffee, espresso, cappuccino and hot flavored cocoa for the kids at the bar. All kids in
casual attire are welcomed. The Mountain Lodge is open during the winter season and for private parties all year long.
