LOREN KORNREICH APPOINTED AS SPA DIRECTOR OF THE NEW CANYON RANCH SPACLUB AT THE HOMESTEAD
February XX, 2013, Hot Springs, Virginia – Loren Kornreich has been appointed as the new Spa Director at Canyon Ranch SpaClub at The Homestead. Highly qualified with management experience at some of the most renowned resort spas in the country, Kornreich is responsible for all operations at the expansive new spa, wellness and fitness facility that will bring a taste of the Canyon Ranch experience to the Allegheny Mountains. Canyon Ranch SpaClub at The Homestead is set to debut in spring 2013.

Kornreich joins The Homestead from Hotel Madeline Telluride in Telluride, Colorado, where as seasonal Spa Director she assisted with the development of all aspects of the spa and fitness experience at Spa Linnea. Previously, she was opening Executive Spa Director for the 35,000 square-foot Spa Montage at Montage Deer Valley in Park City, Utah.
Prior to the Montage, Kornreich served as a Task Force Spa Director in Hawaii for Starwood Companies as well as Director of Spa overseeing daily operations at the Westin Kierland Resort & Spa at Agave, the Arizona Spa in Scottsdale, Arizona. She also served as Director of Spa Operations for LXR properties at Spa Palazzo in Boca Raton, Florida, and oversaw a multi-million-dollar renovation of the 42,000 square-foot spa and fitness facility at the Golden Door in Telluride, Colorado.
An engaged professional, Kornreich has been involved in various community organizations over the years. As an active ASTECC (Advanced SPA Therapy Education Certification Curriculum) Board member, she develops new CEU and Spa Management classes for alternative practices such as Naturopathy to partner and practice within spa businesses.

Kornreich studied at Brookhaven Community College in Dallas and Northeast Missouri State University in Kirksville. Alternative practices such as acupuncture and meditation are integral to her life and keep her grounded. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, spending time with her family, husband and dogs as well as mentoring women in need and volunteering with many shelter operations.
