Memorial Day Weekend (May 25-28, 2012)

Start your summer off right with a trip to The Homestead. We will be celebrating with lots of daily activities for the entire family. Enjoy an All-American cookout and fireworks on Sunday on the Casino Lawn while listening to live music by "In Full", a band performing all types of music--from rock to funk to dance and more! Experience golf, horseback riding, hiking, wine tasting, and much, much more.

Homestead Cup (May 25-27, 2012)

The 2012 Homestead Cup Sporting Clays Event offers 200 - Target Main Event on Saturday and Sunday, 100 - Target Preliminary on Friday, 5-Stand & Make-A-Break and Awards Cookout, Live Entertainment and Fireworks on Sunday. Father's Day Weekend (June 15-17, 2012)

Bring dad for a round of golf....a feast in one of our restaurants....a soak in a mineral bath...a round of skeet...or just let him relax in the Great Hall. Whatever he wishes, The Homestead has it!

KOS Band (June 30, 2012)

Join us from 6-9pm on the Casino Lawn and enjoy the sounds of the “KOS Band”…Big Band and Beyond, "sultans of soul, regents of rock, barons of boogie and bluebloods of blues,” this versatile band has been playing the best of Beach, Motown, Rock ‘n Roll and Classic Swing up and down the East Coast for over two decades. Growing up as a purely ‘30’s and ‘40’s swing band in the 70’s, today the Kings of Swing have changed their name to KOS to reflect the fact that they don’t just play swing anymore.  They play it all!

July 4th Holiday (July 3-5, 2012)

Enjoy an All-American cookout on Wednesday, July 4 with all the favorites while listening to live entertainment by the "Adrian Duke Project", a funky mix of Motown, soul, jazz, swing, and good ol' rock-n-roll. After a fabulous cookout continue the fun with an exciting live band "Band X" and the children can enjoy balloon art. Then partake in our breath-taking fireworks display.

In The Garden (August 17-19, 2012)

Join us for our 14th Annual “In The Garden” weekend featuring Andre Viette and speakers, welcome reception, seminars, door prizes, wine tasting, tour of Homestead Gardens and membership to the American Horticultural Society.

Labor Day (August 31-September 3, 2012)

Visit The Homestead for our end of summer party featuring a cookout on the Casino Lawn with the "Dixie Power Trio" an authentic New Orleans band, followed by a wonderful fireworks display. Activities are abundant with golf, horseback riding, spa treatments, sporting clays, mountain biking, hiking, history tours and so much more.

Thanksgiving Holiday (November 21-25, 2012)

The Homestead is the perfect place to spend the family holidays with craft classes, bingo and wine tasting. There is always something for everyone during Thanksgiving in the mountains and enjoy our traditional tree lighting ceremony in the Great Hall with a visit from Santa himself.

Christmas & New Year's (Dec. 23 - Jan. 1, 2013)

Bring your family for a very special Christmas in the mountains. There will be many activities for the family to enjoy and the children will be delighted by a visit from Santa. On New Year's Eve, ring in the New Year with elegant dining and dancing at one of our fabulous celebrations. The "Adrian Duke Project" will be performing in the Main Dining Room and back by popular demand "Mo'Sol" in the Grand Ballroom.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Weekend (Jan. 18-21 2013)

Join us to celebrate a very special holiday at The Homestead.  Enjoy skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding and ice-skating.  Try your luck at bingo on Saturday evening and you could win a gift card.  Dining is always unique with many options from casual to elegant.

Winterfest Weekend (January 25-27, 2013)

The entire family will enjoy our winter sports at The Mountain Lodge including skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, snow tubing and family snow games.  Take a spin on the ice skating rink by the Casino Restaurant and a magic show on Friday night. Then watch a spectacular fireworks display on Saturday!
 

President's Day Weekend (February 15-18, 2013)

Plan a winter getaway to the mountains with your loved ones. There will be plenty of activities for the entire family! Spend your days on the slopes or stay inside for Wine Tasting or Family Fun Bingo.
 

Easter Weekend (March 29-31, 2013)

This Easter join us at The Homestead and enjoy all the extra fun activities we have planned for the weekend. Enjoy family crafts, photos with the Easter Bunny, magic shows, balloon artist, caricature and much more! Make plans on Saturday to have “Afternoon Tea” with the Easter Bunny. On Sunday morning children can participate with the Easter Bunny in finding over 4,000 eggs. A special Golden Egg will hold an extraordinary prize for one lucky winner! And don’t forget to make reservations for our delicious Easter Brunch.
 

Mother's Day Weekend (May 10-12, 2013)

Treat mom to a relaxing weekend at The Homestead. Let her enjoy a soothing mineral bath and massage at the spa... and Mother’s Day Brunch on Sunday in our Crystal Room. Or just sit back and take in a movie in our historical theater.
