Cascades Gorge Tours
Cascades Gorge Tour
Sign on for a Cascades Gorge Tour and you’ll understand why it is among the most popular activities at The Homestead. As a naturalist leads you along a deep Allegheny Mountain trail punctuated by 12 spectacular waterfalls, you’ll learn fascinating facts about native flora and fauna – from local birds to rare orchids to edible and medicinal plants – and other wonders of the Cascades Gorge. Be sure to bring your camera to capture memories of one of the most beautiful areas of this country. The trail is approximately two miles in length, and moderate hiking ability and endurance are a must for this Allegheny Mountain tour.
