Most of the recreational amenities at this luxury resort in Virginia are offered year round, weather
permitting - including golf on the Old Course - but the winter months bring additional possibilities
for outdoor fun while on your family vacation. The Homestead boasts seven ski trails, snow tubing,
a Ski Shop and restaurant, a top-rated Ski School, a Bunny School,
ski equipment and snowboard rentals. Snowshoeing and snowmobiling are also offered as weather permits.
Renowned in the region as the perfect destination of fun family vacations in Virginia, this luxury resort
is also known as the premier learn-to-ski area. Affordably priced Ski and Skate Packages are offered each
winter through the ski resort.

Off Road Adventure:
The Homestead's Off Road Adventure program offers guests a thrilling and memorable outdoor experience. Our ORA course consists of nearly 3 miles of switchbacks, climbs, and beautiful wooded trails. All vehicles are set up for a driver and passenger. Reservations required.
Driver $90 Passenger $45
Archery:
The Homestead Archery Range is designed for recreational archers. It consists of eight stationary targets that are set at varying distances for adults and children. Sessions can be booked in one hour time frames. Right and left hand bows as well as adult and youth model bows are available. There is a 3D Archery Range that has ten stations and is designed to offer the archer a unique experience of enjoying our natural surroundings. Begins in April.

Wilderness Wonders Presentation:
When the Cascades Gorge Hike is not available because of inclement weather, join one of our naturalists for an exciting presentation by learning about the fossils and the local eco system, being the oldest mountain range in the world - the Alleghenies. Find out about the common things around you that aren’t so common such as lightning, plants etc. Learn about how most of our medicines come from weeds; how orchids lure insects to mate with the flowers because they look like insects; survival tips about the woods and much more.

Scenic Drive Tour:
Take a scenic trip through Bath County and enjoy some of the most beautiful views as well as learning about some of the areas history. See Lake Moomaw, Gathright Dam, Ingalls Overlook, Jefferson Pools, Falling Spring, Sam Snead's home, Bath County Airport, Warm Springs/County Seat and much more. Don't forget to bring your camera!

Vibz Family Game Center:
Families can test their game skills when they stop in at “Vibz” located in Cottage Row. Try out the Wii (Guitar Hero, Rock Band, Wii Fit, Wii Sports), PSP, DVD's, air hockey and much more.
