As part of our commitment to provide the highest level of service to our guests, The Homestead welcomes pets staying with their owners.
To ensure a comfortable stay for all guests of The Homestead, we have developed the following guidelines for pet etiquette:
- Your Pet(s) should have all recommended vaccinations currently up-to-date, and you agree to obtain and provide current records from a licensed veterinarian regarding your pet(s) should The Homestead request this information from you at any time.
- Pet owners agree to keep their pet on a leash or in a carrier while transporting the pet in any public or common place within The Homestead.
- Pet owners agree that pets are not allowed on the Hotel grounds. The Homestead Pet Playground is located on the south end of the Garden Wing where a tether and proper facilities are provided. Pets may be walked on Hiking Trails (Gorge Hike excluded)
- Pet owners agree that pets cannot remain in Golf courses, Pool areas, Fitness center, or any of the food and beverage areas at any time.
- Pet owners agree to not leave their pet unattended at any time.
- Pet owners need to remove their pet from their guest room during housekeeping services, or they may opt out of receiving housekeeping service while the pet is in the room. Housekeeping service times must be pre-set or arranged.
- You must display the "Pet in Room" sign to alert housekeeping that a pet is in residence. Any pets left unattended in the room must be crated and not left to run around the room free.
- If a Pet is left unattended and becomes uncontrollable and causes reasonable guest complaints and after The Homestead makes three failed attempts of reaching the Owner via the cell phone number provided, The Homestead will have the authority to call animal control to assist with controlling the Pet.
- A pet that becomes aggressive, disruptive or noisy to any guest or other person in The Homestead must be immediately removed from The Homestead upon request.
- Pet owners must pick up after their pets or a $150.00 clean up fee will be added to their room account.
- Pet owners will be responsible for the repair of replacement of any items stained or damaged by their pets.
- Pet owners will notify the management of any pet "accidents" immediately and request special cleaning efforts.
- Pet owners will keep their pet(s) off of all furniture including the bed, chairs or couches.
- Pet owners agree to pay an extra $100 cleaning fee, if, in the sole judgment of The Homestead management, the guest rooms require excessive cleaning due to soiled bedspreads, furniture or carpeting.
- Guests who choose not to register their pet and occupy a room other than those that have been designated will be charged a $150.00 cleaning charge per day of stay.
- Pets may not exceed 40 lbs.
- Pet owners must sign a waiver upon arrival at The Homestead.
- A maximum of 2 pets per room.
- All fees are non-refundable.
