Nestled amidst breathtaking scenery of Virginia's Allegheny Mountains, this National Historic Landmark luxury resort, located in Hot Springs, VA is accessible by auto, air or train. Only 70 miles from Roanoke Regional Airport and 30 minutes from Amtrak in Clifton Forge.

 

Transportation Information

Transportation Service to and from the Roanoke Regional Airport, surrounding airports and

Amtrak can be arranged by calling The Homestead Activities Department at 800-838-1766, option 3.  Advanced reservations required.  If you need transportation inside of three days of your arrival or departure, please call The Homestead Transportation Department directly at 540-839-7711.

From Atlanta - 500 miles
I-85 north to I-77
I-77 north to I-81
I-81 north to exit #150 B (Troutville/U.S.
220 north exit)
220 north to Clifton Forge
(follow signs to I-64 west to Covington)
I-64 west to exit #16 A (first Covington exit)
At exit #16 A pick up U.S. 220 north and follow
U.S. 220 north to The Homestead

From Charleston, WV - 140 miles
I-64 east to Exit #16
Take a left at the first set of traffic lights
Take a left at the next set of traffic lights onto U.S. 220 north.
Take U.S. 220 north to The Homestead

I-77 north to I-81 north
I-81 north to exit #150 B (Troutville/U.S. 220 north exit)
